A Decade of Zombies: Gadget-Bot’s Art in the Call of Duty Universe

For more than a decade, Gadget-Bot has been contributing art and creative work to the Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies universe. With the recent launch of an official Treyarch Zombies Art Book, that chapter of the team’s creative journey is getting a chance to be celebrated in print.
A Decade of Work Behind the Zombies
Gadget-Bot founders Robert Simons and Peggy Chung, and the broader Gadget-Bot team have contributed to the Zombies portion of the Call of Duty: Black Ops franchise for approximately 10 years. Across that time, the team has worked on a wide range of visual development and concept art, helping shape the worlds, environments, and imagery that define the Zombies experience. The newly released art book brings together more than a decade of creative work from the franchise, offering fans a look at the art and development behind one of gaming's most recognizable modes.
From Gadget-Bot to Kaidro
Today, Gadget-Bot is also the parent company behind the Kaidro universe. The creative experience gained through years of work across major entertainment and gaming projects continues to influence how the team approaches Kaidro, from world-building and visual development to creating assets and stories that can extend across games, comics, animation, and other mediums. Gadget-Bot's portfolio contains years of artwork from the projects the team has contributed to, making it a visual record of the creative journey that eventually helped lead to Kaidro.
A Look Back at Shadows of Evil
Among the work highlighted in the recent announcement is an illustration created for Shadows of Evil.
