From China to Kaidro: A Journey of Creation

In 2018, before Kaidro became a comic, game, or the expanding universe it is today, Peggy Chung and Robert Simons took Kaidro and Gadget-Bot to China as part of a multi-city road show.
An Opportunity to Share the Vision
The trip brought them to several cities, where they presented their projects to local governments, entertainment groups, technology companies, and industry professionals. What started as a fast-paced trip quickly became an intense experience filled with presentations, travel, and new connections. One of the biggest moments came in Beijing, where they presented Kaidro and Gadget-Bot on a much larger stage than they had expected.
Create, Share, Repeat
At the time, Kaidro was still a world they were building from scratch. It wasn't yet a comic or a game. For Peggy and Robert, the experience reinforced an important part of the creative process: you have to create something, put it out into the world, and let people respond to it. Sharing the work allowed them to see what interested people, hear questions and suggestions, and better understand what Kaidro could become.
The Journey Continues
The China trip didn't immediately create a specific new opportunity, but it inspired them to keep building. Years later, Kaidro has grown into a larger universe spanning publishing, games, and more. The biggest lesson remains simple: keep creating, keep sharing, and be willing to walk through the doors that open along the way.
